Over the past 90 years, Corinthians has created a legacy that has seen them win multiple Connacht Senior Cup and Leagues titles and an All Ireland Cup in 1985, the Women’s AIL and All Ireland Cup titles, and numerous underage competitions in both men’s and women’s rugby. Now we need your help to ensure the sustainability of our club so we can continue developing the talent of the future.
During these unprecedented times, we lost our major fundraising opportunities, so we are reaching out to the community to help us and to join us in an ambitious and exciting vision for the continued growth of our club. With our funding avenues such as match day revenue, the cancellation of the Tag Rugby and our Annual Awards and Fundraising Dinner, in conjunction with local business sponsorship being hugely affected, we now need your help.
We are reaching out to you our fellow Galway Corinthians community and Corinthian supporters both near and far to kindly ask you for a donation if possible. These monies will be used to support the growth of the club and develop new facilities to rival the best in the province that can support all players within our club as well as the wider sporting community.
Prior to the pandemic, additional land was purchased adjacent to the existing grounds where we intend to develop a 4G all-weather pitch that can also be used by the local community for other sports and an additional two playing pitches.
We understand in these times that not everyone might be in a position to help us financially but if you can contribute, we would appreciate it. We are also always on the lookout for volunteers and if you are in the position to do so please reach out and contact us.
