Firsts
The firsts were beaten on Saturday by Galwegians 18-16 in the Connacht Senior League and have one game remaining away to Sligoon Saturday next at 2pm. The league is still there to be played for following the weekend’s games and a bonus point win over Sligo might be enough to win the Connacht Senior League. Support would be really appreciated for this game as the team prepare for a real go at the Ulster Bank League.
Bus To The Game
The team bus for the game will leave Corinthians at 9.15 SHARP.
Seconds and Thirds
The seconds begin their league on Sunday the 17th of September at home to NUIG with the game kicking off at 2.30pm.
The Thirds Season begins with a hone game in the Curley Cup against Carrick on September 9th. Kick off is at 2.30pm.
Club training continues on Tuesdays and Thursday Night’s at Corinthian Park at 7pm. All new players are welcome to come down.
Youths Update
U13’s
Format for this season: 11 Teams, non competitive league. Teams play once only, home or away.
The Connacht Youths Leagues Kick Off This weekend with the Under 13’s playing Claremorris in Claremorris at 11.30. The Bus will leave Corinthians at 9.30am.
U14’s
Format for this season: 10 teams, teams play once only home or away. Top 2 team’s play off in league final
The Under 14 League will begin on the 9th of September with Corinthians away to Galwegians Black at 1.30.
U15’s
Format for this season: 12 teams split into two pools of 6 geographically teams play home and away. 10 league games in total. Final between top team in each pool.
The Under 15’s will start their League on Wednesday the 6th away to Galwegians in Glenina at 6.45pm. Support would be appreciated.
U16’s
Format for this season: 14 teams split into two pools of 7 teams, teams play once only home or away. The top 4 teams in each pool will qualify for the quarter – finals.
The Under 16 League will begin for Corinthians on the 9th of September when they take on NUIG.
U17’s
Format for this season: 12 teams split into two pools. Team play home and away. Top team in each pool will play off in the league
The Under 17’s begin their league campaign on Saturday next when they travel to Dubarry Park to take on Buccaneers at 12 noon. The team will be leaving Corinthians at 9.45am.
U18.5’s
Format for this Season: 11 teams, teams play once only home or away. The top 2 teams will playoff in the league final.
Due to number of teams involved and due to the Inter-pro’s the following non U18.5 weekends will be used for matches29/10/2017, 26/11/2017 and 17/12/2017
Corinthians Under 18.5’s will begin their season on the 24th of September away to Galwegians.
Minis Registration Day
Minis Registration will take place on Saturday the 2nd of September from 9.3- until 12 Noon at Corinthian Park. All are welcome. If you would like more information email corinthianrfcminis@gmail.com
